Wide variety of neighborhoods, that feel like neighborhoods not one big city. Everything from secular to ultra Orthodox, from old to new, reasonable to very expensive. Lots of new construction and renovations. Fantastic beaches, within walking distance from many neighborhoods. Lots of beach amenities, sailing lessons, kite sailing, surfing, lounging. Majority of neighborhoods have local stores. Easy biking. Several shopping malls, cinemas, IKEA. Convenient to Tel Aviv without being in a big city. Renovated downtown. Lots of concerts and festivals. Lots of AirBNB/hotels for visitors. Feels like a smaller city than it is. Great public transportation, train is conveniently located. Taxis are plentiful. Residents range from singles to seniors, Olim to sabras. Pets welcome (please pick up after your dog.) Best place I’ve lived in Israel, no intention of leaving.
