Had a great yishuv atmosphere- streets empty on Shabbat, kids playing everywhere, one main shul where everyone knew each other. All Israeli. The location is great if you like to hike in the surrounding parks up north. The yishuv is on a little mountain so it has gorgeous views. It’s a cleaner environment than you often see in Israel.. and the homes are nicer/bigger. They build in shlavim (stages) so you have to be able to find a place to rent or live in the caravans while you build a home).
For us, the young couples/family scene was more modern than we were looking for (‘dati lite’ they say I think), yet there was definitely a warm tight-knit community vibe with some Torah at the Shabbat table... Seems like a lovely place to grow up.
